With our service, your home or apartment will be powered by 100% clean and renewable energy generated at U.S. wind farms, instead of the dirty and risky conventional power sourced from coal, nuclear and natural gas. Your local electric utility’s infrastructure will continue to reliably deliver electricity to your home.

What it costs

During the 3 month free trial, you get the benefit of clean, renewable wind energy for the same cost you usually pay for coal, nuclear and natural gas electricity.

After your free 3 month trial period, there is a nominal price increase to 1.5 cents per kWh. For our average customer, this amount works out to about $9 per month. Most of us spend that amount on a few cups of coffee! Not bad for an investment in the health of our communities and our planet, right?

This additional cost not only supports Green Core Electric, but supports the growth of renewable energy in the U.S. 

How billing works

Your current utility company’s infrastructure reliably delivers power to your home or apartment and that will stay the same. Our system uses your utility’s online account to track your monthly usage and matches it with 100% clean and renewable wind energy using RECs.

Because we are conscious of reducing waste and offering the highest convenience to our customers, you will receive a single monthly electronic bill directly from Green Core Electric, which includes your electricity utility and renewable energy costs. Our system pays your electric utility directly. Autopay is available as an option.
